The Board of Directors is nominated by fellow MTHLA members. These leaders make up our organization's governing body along with the Executive Director. The next year's board is voted on at the annual meeting, typically held in October. Each board member serves on a committee, whether it be Government Affairs, Special Events, Membership or Education.

We collaborate with State and City officials to ensure the message of our hospitality industry is heard. By engaging with local government, we can lend our expertise on issues which impact the communities we serve.

Quality, affordable educational and personal development programs are offered through periodic education events, specialized training, and through the speaker series at the seven luncheons per year. As industry issues arise, we inform and educate our members on best practices and solutions to pressing problems. Recent topics include Alcohol & Legislative updates, Route 66 readiness for 2026, First Aid & CPR, The City of Tulsa's Economic Development Plan. If you have a topic you would like to see addressed, contact us!

We love getting together! After all, we are in the hospitality industry. Through mixers, luncheons and the annual "Allied Showcase" we provide opportunities for members to build relationships, discuss issues and build camaraderie.
